CCS is celebrating Multicultural Day on Thursday, May 17th. Here’s how we plan to celebrate:
1) We will have a non-uniform day. Students are encouraged to wear cultural attire (i.e. my family is from India and I’m wearing a Sari) or coloured clothing that represents their culture in some way (i.e. I’m from Brazil so I wore green and yellow)
2) We will have an assembly at 9:30am. We have two acts plans so far. One is a Korean drumming group and another is a student group of Hawaiian dancers. If you or your child would like to perform a cultural act as a part of this assembly please let Mrs. Hosein know no later than Tuesday, May 14th.
3) There is be various classroom activities throughout the day.
Thanks for helping make this a great celebration our all of our beautiful cultures.
