We are not the sum of our weaknesses and failures; we are the sum of the Father's love for us - St. John Paul II
God has blessed me with my wife, Fabiola, and our four children. One of our family hobbies is to grow fruit and vegetables in our garden. Oh, and wrestling. I enjoy skiing, fly fishing, racquet sports and independent music and movies. To improve my teaching and to grow in my faith, I am doing graduate work in Pastoral Studies at St. Mark's College at UBC. A philosophy that guides me is that I try to live my life and do my work in the context of the Good News of Jesus. In my teaching, I invite my students to see themselves in the truth of who they are: the beloved children of a God who knows them and cares for them in a way that cannot change. He does this because it is who he is.
Let everything you do be done in love. 1 Corinthians 16:14
My name is Bríd Daly and I am fortunate enough to teach grade seven at Cloverdale Catholic School. I moved to Vancouver from Dublin, Ireland, in 2011 and have been enjoying the wonderful west coast lifestyle ever since! The community of C.C.S. and Precious Blood Parish are so special, and have really helped me to feel at home here. If you want to find me, I am the one with the hideous laugh and funny accent!
