Curriculum Night- Mr. Heah's presentation

Dear Parents,

Please find here the link for my presentation for Curriculum Night (or what would have been Curriculum Night…). Your child(ren)’s teacher will be sending their presentation/information home to you today or tomorrow.

** Thank you to all of our parents for remembering our “no umbrella” rule. Some parents have asked me why we are not allowing umbrellas. There are a few reasons for this rule: Firstly, it comes down to safety. With a lot of umbrellas open, students run the risk of getting poked in the eye, especially when they are lining up. Secondly, umbrellas actually end up getting students more wet, as all the water that runs off the umbrellas hits those students who don’t have an umbrella. Thirdly, with soaking wet umbrellas, our floors get very slippery, and lastly, there is no space for students to hang their umbrellas at school, meaning that they will lie around the cloakroom and cause a tripping hazard as well as make the cloakrooms extremely wet. On days when the rain is heavy (like this morning), we will have a soft start, meaning children can head right to their classrooms when they arrive. Staff on supervision will let you know if it is a soft start. We still ask that you do not send your children prior to 8:30 am as teachers will be in staff prayer.

We had some issues with sending out emails today. The school mass link was supposed to go out at 7:00am, and my presentation was supposed to go out at 3:00pm.

Here is the link for future masses. Please bookmark it for easy access.

Thank you for your support!

God bless,

C. Heah
