Monday items...

Dear Parents/ Guardians,

Please take note of the following items:

  1. In case of snow (and we are supposed to have some coming later today), any school closures will be communicated to you using REMIND, and it will be posted on the school website by 7:00am.

  2. I have had some questions regarding the PHO’s orders that were implemented on Saturday night for the next two weeks. The orders that apply to gatherings and sports do not apply to the school setting. Staff have been reminded of their responsibility in ensuring that all health and safety protocols are being followed at school. We continue to encourage students to wear masks to school, especially when they are out of their cohort. A reminder to parents to please respect social distancing at pick up. The pick up area can become busy, and so wearing a mask and/or practicing 2 m social distancing from other parents is kindly requested.

  3. PRECIOUS BLOOD PARISH COAT DRIVE FOR COVENANT HOUSE

As the weather is increasingly getting colder out and it will getting worse as the winter goes on, there are MANY children and adults going without warm clothing. It is those without secure housing and those who’s funds have been significantly depleted due to unemployment. It is very difficult to see a child who has but a mere light jacket on when the temperature drops outside.

We are having a COAT DRIVE for the needy on 2 days in order to collect these new, or gently worn coats to give to COVENANT HOUSE to be distributed to those who need it most. We will be aided by the help of the Confirmation students from the Parish PREP program and the CCS school. Donations will be very kindly accepted and appreciated. Please drop them off on:

SATURDAY DECEMBER 5TH FROM 10AM TO 11:30AM AT THE PARISH CENTRE AND ON

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 9TH FROM 6:30PM-7:30PM AT THE PARISH CENTRE DURING OUR PREP NIGHT

Thank you all for your generous donations and please call Karla Erickson at the Parish at 604-574-4363 if you have on questions .

Thank you for your attention to these items.

God bless,
C. Heah
