"United Day": Halloween Colours Day- Friday, October 30, 2020

Dear Parents/ Guardians,

Tomorrow is United Day and we are having a Halloween Colours Day with all proceeds going to Holy Childhood Association. Please be reminded that this is not a dress up day for halloween costumes. Students are not permitted to wear costumes, masks, or makeup. Students are asked to dress in halloween colours, halloween themed t-shirts, leggings, headbands are all acceptable. In exchange for dressing down, students are encouraged to bring in a small donation that will go to Holy Childhood Association.

Please remember that treats from home cannot come to school to be distributed. Some of the teachers have treats that they plan to hand out, but you should be getting an email form the teacher to let you know what is being given out. Everything that is given out will be nut free. Please ensure that your child(ren) does not bring in any halloween candy for personal consumption that has any nuts in it (Reese cups, snickers, Oh Henry…). Our school is a nut safe school, and as such no nut products should ever be brought to school.

If you have extra candy that you do not want, we will be collecting for Agape Street Ministry, starting Monday. Please ensure that the candy is in bags and have your child drop it at the school office. For the safety of all students, all the donated candy will be kept inside the office until it is picked up.

Next week is Missions Week, and Mrs. Paraiso, Mrs. Krammer and Mrs. Nadeau have worked hard to put together a fun Missions Week for the students, titled “We Can.” Information will be coming tomorrow in the Friday Memo.
