Please be sure to send in your child’s tally slip for week one if you raised money so that your child’s name can be entered into the draw!
- If you or a family/friend are donating online, it is very important that you please choose a Giving Group rather than just donating to the general fundraiser. This will ensure that your child gets the credit for the donation.Spirit Wear Day
Monday is our monthly Spirit Wear Day. Please be reminded that students are invited to wear Spirit Wear on top (or a top in school colours) and uniform bottoms and shoes.Assembly- We will be having an assembly on Tuesday at 1:45pm. Parents are always invited!
Maintenance Update
WORKBEE THIS SATURDAY
There are spaces still available for the workbee this Saturday, October 1st from 9 am to 12pm. We will be focusing on blackberries, weeding, and generally getting the grounds ready for the fall. BRING WORK GLOVES!!!!!! In addition, if anyone has a truck, we will need the garbage by the dumpster in the parish parking lot taken away to the Central Surrey Recycling and Waste Centre. Please email maintenance@cloverdalecatholicschool.ca if you can help out with this task. Alternatively, if you need some used toilets and a couple of outdated car seats, you can pick them up from beside the dumpster in the parish parking lot anytime prior to Saturday.
EXPERTS NEEDED
Do you specialize in trades or project planning? We have several projects/repairs coming up over the next little while and we need your help. If you have expertise to offer (either in the form of practical assistance or being available to advise/consult on your area of specialization), please introduce yourself via email at maintenance@cloverdalecatholicschool.ca The Maintenance Coordinator has an MA in History and is self-taught in the art of Looking Up DIY Projects On YouTube And Mostly Successfully Figuring Out Stuff That Way, so she needs all the help she can get!
If you would like to sign up for more awesome Maintenance hours, keep an eye on your email or go to the CCS On Volunteers page. HELPFUL TIP: if the OnVolunteers page says that the school code is no longer valid, just go back to the Parent Resources page and click through again. No idea why the link times out, but it's a pretty easy fix, if slightly annoying. Have a great weekend, the weather is supposed to be lovely!

Youth Group News!You are invited to our first YOUTH Get-Together Dinner on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 5:00 pm at the Precious Blood Parish Center (Columbus Room). This will be a great opportunity for everyone to meet other members in our Youth Ministry, share stories of how the first weeks of school went, sign up for future projects and events, and have a fun and relaxing time with friends.
