Important Information

  • 3 Way Conferences are happening Nov. 2, 3, 4. Please ensure that you have signed up for the conferences. The link once again is: https://www.schoolinterviews.ca/code/tnu5

  • Lost and Found is growing! We have numerous uniform pieces, all with no names on them. Please remember to label all of your child’s uniform pieces.

  • COVID 19 Update- We have had a few confirmed cases of COVID 19 in the last two weeks. PLease keep an eye out for symptoms and ensure that your children stay home if they are unwell. It is advised to administer a COVID test as well if your child(ren) is displaying any symptoms. We have extra rapid tests at school if your would like a box.

  • Parent Participation Update: From Monday, October 24th to Friday, October 28th, Habitat Systems will be conducting playground drainage repairs at the school. Therefore, the playground will not be available for use during this time period.

On Saturday, October 29th, we will be having a workbee (this will NOT replace the Nov 5th workbee) in order to spread the new woodchips across the newly repaired playground. We will need at least 30 volunteers to get the job done - you can sign up through OnVolunteers. There will not be enough tools for everyone, so if you have rakes, shovels, or wheelbarrows at home, please bring them along! And don't forget to bring work gloves!

We are still in need of another Assistant Workbee Coordinator who would attend 6/9 of the workbees and help out with supervision and tool management at the workbees. Sign up through OnVolunteers for a 30 minute meeting with the Maintenance Coordinator to see if this position is a good fit for you.

REMINDER FOR NON-WORKBEE MAINTENANCE HOURS: if you sign up for something like leaf raking, please make sure to email maintenance@cloverdalecatholicschool.ca ON THE DAY that you complete the hours with the date and time that you were doing your task. We are using the email system rather than a sign in/out sheet at the parish office so that parents can complete their task at any time, not just during parish office hours.

  • Christmas Crafts Volunteers needed
Urgent Student Christmas Craft Meeting, Tuesday, October 18th at 9:00am in the Parish Centre.

All parents looking to assist in the individual student crafts for the parish bazaar (experienced or not) please bring your ideas on Tuesday, October 18th at 9:00am to the Parish Centre, to plan and prepare for this year’s Parish Bazaar in November. For additional information or questions, please email Kate Verrelli at: mrskateverrelli@gmail.com.
