Important Information

  • Walkathon news
Please ensure that your forms and money are in NO LATER than Monday, October 31. Thank you everyone for your hard work in raising money for our school! Our total collection and prize giveaway will happen at our assembly on Tuesday.

  • Interim Report Cards are coming home today. Please return the form to your child’s teacher no later than Nov. 2.

  • UNITED DAY- Monday is United Day! Students are invited to come to school dressed down in Halloween Colours and accessories (Halloween necklaces, earrings, headbands, rings, socks…). Please no masks, hats or other costumes. Proceeds to go to Holy Childhood and an extra $1 for popcorn!

  • Halloween Candy- Please do not send any candy to school (unless it has a peanut free symbol on it) - we have a lot of food allergies and it will be too difficult for teachers to go through candies to see what is safe and what is not safe. We are also asking families to refrain from sending candy to school with your child’s lunches for the same reason.

  • Agape Candy Collection- Any extra Halloween candy that you have can be brought to school and we will make a donation to the Agape Street Ministry.

  • Saints Dress Up day- students are invitied to come to school dressed up a their favourite (or any) saint.

  • 3 Way Conferences are happening Nov. 2, 3, 4. Please ensure that you have signed up for the conferences. The link once again is: https://www.schoolinterviews.ca/code/tnu5. Please note that students must come in school uniform and Friday is a non-instructional day to accomodate the conferences.

  • Lost and Found is growing! Last call for items in the lost and found. We will be donating all unclaimed items on Monday.

  • COVID 19 Update- A reminder that we have rapid tests available at the office if you require some. Please test your child if they are symptomatic so that there is no spread of COVID in our school.

  • Special handmade Poppies for sale. One of our parents, Faith Kim, has spent the last few months hand knitting poppies! They are beautiful and are a precious keepsake. We are selling them for $5/ poppy, with a portion from each poppy going to the Veterans Society. They are available for sale at the office, starting Monday. Photo attached below.

  • Maintenance Update: Our playground project is scheduled to be completed by today and tomorrow we are in need of parents to come and help spread new wood chips from 9:00am to 12:00pm. More hands make lighter work! Please sign up on On Volunteers.
