Important Information
Gala:
a HUGE thank you to everyone who supported our gala last weekend! It was a great night and a big success! Thank you to our PFG Gala team for their incredible hard work putting on this event.
Registration for 2024/2025:
Registration for next year is now complete. Any outstanding registrations will now be put behind families on the waitlist and subject to a $50 late fee. Thank you to the many families who have completed their registration. For those of you who brought home documents that required a second signature please either scan and email those or return those documents through your child on Monday. Also, every family, whether Catholic or Non-Catholic, must fill out a Pastor Authorization form. These forms are at the parish office please fill out this form as soon as possible. If you are a Precious Blood Parishioner you can return your form to the parish office, if you belong to another parish please bring your form to your parish priest and if you are a non-Catholic family you can return your form to the school office.
Spring Performance:
April 30- 1:00pm Matinee, 6:00pm evening show- Cloverdale Catholic School's Spring Concert this year is a "Musical Journey Through Time" featuring each class, Choir, Band performances, singing and dancing. We are creating a show program and offering three types of Sponsorship:
Bronze - $25 (Business card size)
Silver - $50 (half a page)
Gold - $100 (full page)
Platinum - $100+
The deadline to confirm and send the digital graphic, as well as the funds to our school is by Friday, April 12th.
Our Platinum sponsors are welcome to display their retractable banner (if they have one) in our Parish centre foyer at the concert.
Sponsorship funds go directly to the CCS Music Dept. for instruments (xylophones, percussion instruments, and sound/light equipment rentals)
Athletics:
It has been great to see all of our roadrunners out this week! Track and Field practices start next week- please refer to Mr. K’s Track and Field form that went home last week. Younger siblings can only stay for practices if supervised by an adult.
AGM: Our annual AGM will be on May 7th at 6:30pm in the school gym. Please note that parents are expected to come to this event as per Family Statement of Commitment. This year we are going to offer 1 hour of Parent Participation to all families that come, AND there will be a special wine draw at the end of the evening.
Parent Participation Update:
Families, the deadline of May 31st to finish parent participation hours is fast approaching! There are plenty of volunteer opportunities on the website. Please consider volunteering even if you have reached the 40 hour suggested goal. Many of our school events rely on the help and support from parents in order to be successful.
If you are unable to attend a volunteer shift, kindly remove yourself from the task with as much notice as possible. If there is more than 24 hours notice, the task can be reposted and hopefully a replacement can be found . If there is less than 24 hours notice, email the parent participation coordinator. Failure to report an absence will result in a no show fee of $25 per missed shift. Three no shows, and the family will be removed from the program and will have to pay out the remaining hours at the cost of $30 per missed regular hour and $60 per missed maintenance hour.

There are 4 spots left for professional family photos! Sessions take place next Saturday, April 13th, 2024 at the Parish Centre. All proceeds from the $30 sitting fee will go directly back to the school. Sorry no pets are permitted.

Return-It Bottle Refund Program:
All you need to do is visit any Return-It Express Location and enter the CCS phone number (604) 574-5151 at the kiosk. Print your labels, stick them on your empties & help CCS!
