Important Information
Walkathon 2023- Each student will be coming home with an enevelope today with all of the necessary information for this year’s Walkathon. Please take the time to read through the information. Thank you in advance for your support of our Walkathon!
Photo Day- Please ensure that your child is in full uniform for the school photos. A reminder as well that students should keep hair accessories to simple headbands and hair clips. Please refrain from sending your child to school with large and colourful hair accessories.
Parent Drivers- Parents that are driving for any school event MUST have a Volunteer Driver form and Criminal Record Check on file with the school. This includes, field trips, sporting events (driving other students to games during and after school, tournaments, …). It is a legal requirement that schools ensure these documents are in place. You can find the form and CRC instructions on our school website under Parent Resources.

Student Health- We continue to see a high number of sick students. Please ensure that you keep your child(ren) home if they are sick. We are also reminding students at school to regularly wash their hands.

1) Community Values Coupon Books:
This is your last weeked to sell coupon books! The top selling student will win 4 tickets to a Vancouver Giants Game & the top class will win a visit from Urban Safari!
The Final Coupon Book Collection will happen on Tuesday, September 26th. The PFG will be outside before and after school. Don't send your books to school, please bring them to the PFG table! All unsold coupon books must also be returned on Tuesday, September 26th.

3) Return-It Bottle Refund Program:
All you need to do is visit any Return-It Express Location and enter the CCS phone number (604) 574-5151 at the kiosk. Print your labels, stick them on your empties & help CCS!

Parent Participation Weekly Report
Volunteer needed! Year long commitment mandatory. Mrs. Jangula is looking for a regular volunteer to laminate various posters and signs for the school. Ideal candidate to be available during school hours. Volunteer is responsible for keeping track of hours and submitting via ad hoc. Be warned, the machine is finicky. Training will be provided.
